Our 10 acre
Alpaca farm is located just below the crest of the green rolling hills of
East Albany Vermont. We are a few minutes off I-91, up in Vermont's
"Northeast Kingdom", (between Newport and St. Johnsbury). The "Kingdom" is a
very special place, far away from the hustle and bustle and a perfect place
for raising high quality Alpaca. Rolling hillsides covered with succulent
green grasses from spring through fall, always fresh and clean mountain air
and cool brisk winter temperatures where the snow still is measured in feet,
all contribute to healthy and happy, densely fibered Alpaca champions.

CB HESTIA carries
superior genetics – her black dam, COCOA'S DESIREE, is a QUETZAL
daughter who won awards for one of the finest and best BLACK fleeces in the
country and her sire, EQUADOR, a DAKOTIA son, took home
multiple awards for his dense, tightly crimped, beautifully bundled fawn
fleece. But that’s not all! Also represented in her lineage is a true
celebration of bloodlines from the likes of PERUVIAN BUENO,
PPERUVIAN EPIFANIA, PPERUVIAN TIMOTEO, MFI CREME DE COCOA,
and 4PERUVIAN MATADOR. HESTIA presents a solid conformation
and a fine, bright well-crimped fleece with superior staple length. With a
family tree like CB HESTIA has, we wanted a stellar cria, so in late
September 2007 we bred Hestia at Magical Farms to the legendary 6PERUVIAN
ACCOYO TITAN. (who sold shortly thereafter for $250k at Magical's annual
auction). We have high expectations of the cria onboard, but realize that
others who have shown interest in Hestia may want to add her to their own
program as well.
